In Component Analytics, you tag all interactions that happen on your site.
Depending on the number of visitors to your site, you end up with a large amount of data very quickly.
This may lead to your analytics suite to introduce sampling.
Sampling is taking a subset of the data which is representative of the larger data set.
Sampling tries to give you inaccurate data, making it unclear what has happened on your site.
The problem is that you don’t know how the analytics suite selects its sample.
Thus, you don’t know if it’s actually representative of the whole.
If decisions are made based on the reports, it’s important that they’re accurate.
To solve this issue, you have to access the raw data.
That means knowing how to query a database is a skill set you’ll need when there are large volumes of data.
Consider if you have that skill in the organization before implementing Component Analytics.
