Anonymization in Component Analytics – Examples

In Component Analytics, the PII resides in the content of the Interaction Component.

When looking for sensitive information on your site, it’s easiest to start with your links.

Your other interaction components, such as buttons, have generic text such as “Buy”.

For example, if users can post content on your site, their name may be their username.

Another typical example would be on a banking site. When they list your accounts, they link to your account details from a link containing your account number.

If we look at the third account, event the account name contains PII.
