What is a Component?

When you’ve decided to tag all interactions, you look for ways to do that in an automated matter.

Component Analytics tags the interactions using a bottom-up approach. It tags all your Components.

Think of Components as lego pieces you combine to create your pages. They’re coded once to fit with your brand and then reused on all your pages.

Examples of a component include a button, link, card, and table.

Popular development libraries, such as React, Vue, and Angular, all promote reusing Components to build pages.

You can leverage the Component reuse to report each interaction on your site.

Because the Component reports its interaction, every new page has its interactions reported.

Your site is built using Components, your analytics should be too.
