When implementing Component Analytics, the interactions the customer does is reported by the Interaction Components.
Typical Interaction Components you see every day:
- Links
- Buttons
- Text Inputs
- Select Inputs
- Date picker
- Sliders
- Video
All these have many interaction types. Usually we only recommend collecting clicks as those are the most interesting interactions.
Yet things like scrolling can be of interest if it’s for example a blog.
For inputs, an interesting interaction to tag is when they’re active.
Helps determine what a leaving customer was doing last before they left.
