Good reports are automatable.
Which also allows you to create dashboards instead of reporting.
Creating dashboards saves a lot of analysts time.
The product team in question has access to the dashboard with updated data at any time.
Meaning that after the dashboard has been setup, the analysts are free to go back to their other work.
This also makes it easier for product teams to incorporate looking into their analytics as part of their work process.
However, make sure the dashboard allows you to check historical data.
A lot of products teams will look into old reports and compare them to current data.
If you can’t do that in the dashboard, the team may still ask analysts for that data, which slows both the product team and the analyst down.
