Reference – Radio Buttons and Checkboxes

Another typical Interaction Components are radio buttons and checkboxes.

• Interaction Component action: uncheck
• Interaction Component content: Acting
• Component Section (optional): What are your hobbies?
• Component Section number (optional): 3

The radio button is very similar.

• Interaction Component name: radio
• Interaction Component action: check
• Interaction Component content: Yes
• Component section (optional): Do you do any of your hobbies for a living?
• Component section number (optional): 3

Note the Component Section metadata.

It’s used to describe in what section of the a Module the Interaction Component resides.

In this case, it’s the question that is being answered.

This helps the analyst know what question was answered, even if it’s moved in the future.

The Component Section number is also optional metadata, in this case describing the question number.
