As I wrote yesterday, Analytics shows you the symptoms of an issue.
Those symptoms lead you to ask better questions.
Instead of asking “Why aren’t my customers converting?”.
You’ll be asking:
- Why do my customers take this specific journey through my site?
- Where do my customers usually leave the site?
- What were the customers doing before they left?
- Why do customers that start on this page always seem to convert?
Instead of having generic questions, your questions will be targeted.
Targeted questions are easier to answer.
Answering any of these questions gives you a better understanding of the customer.
Which makes it easier to answer other questions.
