Before I jump into the reports themselves, I wanted to write about access to reports.
Reports are the distillation of knowledge from the analytics team to the rest of the company.
These reports are used by the C-suite to make big decisions setting the strategy of the company.
Yet, while these big decisions are important, most decisions are small.
Made by every team member in their day-to-day work.
The team make these decisions with the best of their knowledge at the time.
That’s why giving all team members easy to read reports, on things they actually work on, will help drive the organization in the right direction.
Gaining product knowledge will lead to small synchronizations in the team between the company goals and their work.
Thus, keeping these reports restricted to the C-level is hurtful to reaching company goals in the long run.
