Using Component Analytics on your site, the sheer amount of data allows you to do something you couldn’t otherwise.
Reverse engineer the customer.
Reverse engineering is the act of extracting information about an unknown process by observing its inputs and outputs.
In this case, the unknown process is the customer, and the output is how they interact with your site.
When you map out the customer journey, you’re observing the outputs.
By comparing customer journeys, you’re extracting information on what your customers want.
Having every interaction tagged on your site allows you to compare your customers’ understanding of your site.
Following where your customers start their journey, which ones convert and which stumble on the way is understanding your customer without having access to them.
In essence, a customer’s interactions on the site is them voicing their needs to you.
Make sure you’re listening.
